Electrical Engineer – Low Voltage Works Specialist

About the role

Gleeds Ukraine is looking for a proactive Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Low Voltage Works Specialist. The role offers a blend of local and international exposure within the construction sector, allowing you to contribute from concept through to project hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical and low‑voltage projects from design to commissioning and hand‑over.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
• Research solutions, estimate timescales and costs, and prepare technical briefs.
• Liaise with team members, contractors and clients; attend on‑site meetings.
• Supervise teams performing electrical and low‑voltage work, ensuring compliance with contract scope.
• Develop investment guidelines, manage cost and value engineering, and oversee tendering procedures.
• Coordinate design, financial, contractual, quality, health and safety aspects and report to investors.
• Manage the completion phase, including receipt of works, troubleshooting and evaluation.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English, both written and spoken.
• Eligibility to work in Ukraine.

Required skills

• High‑voltage and medium‑voltage electrical systems.
• Low‑voltage systems, computer networks and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Fire safety systems (advantageous).
• Earthing and lightning‑protection systems.
• Trace heating systems.
• Pricing and budgeting for electrical installations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
