Digital Humanitarian Project Manager

About the role

FHI 360 is launching the Changing Lives with Innovative Funding (CLIF) project in Dnipro, Ukraine, to deliver flexible financial assistance to local veterans using a blockchain‑based payment system. The Digital Humanitarian Project Manager will lead the implementation of this pilot, ensuring that resources reach beneficiaries efficiently and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project resources, develop work plans, and lead regular project meetings.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, organizational policies, and prepare programmatic reports.
• Represent the project at client and funder meetings and external events.
• Serve as the primary contact for sub‑awardees and partners, facilitating communication across internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project risks, document approaches, and support knowledge‑management initiatives.
• Assist with business development, proposal writing, and identification of new funding opportunities.
• Provide finance support including budget development, start‑up planning, and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing humanitarian or development projects, preferably in conflict‑affected settings.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, reporting standards, and risk management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners, including local veteran organizations and technology providers.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and representation.

• Experience with blockchain‑based payment platforms (e.g., VIA Wallet).
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Budgeting and financial reporting capabilities.
• Report writing and documentation skills.
