Academic Intervention Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an Academic Intervention Specialist who will combine data analysis with direct student coaching to accelerate learning outcomes. Working remotely, you will turn student performance data into actionable insights and provide high‑trust interventions that remove learning blockers quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze student performance data and produce clear, actionable academic reports.
• Own academic outcomes for an assigned group of K‑8 students, including placement, testing decisions, and follow‑up actions.
• Run rapid academic rescue sessions to identify root causes of learning issues and resolve them in real time.
• Conduct post‑test coaching to differentiate knowledge gaps from careless mistakes and assign targeted next steps.
• Collaborate with academic leaders and parent support teams to escalate risks and improve tools or processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of coaching, instructional, or training experience with documented outcomes.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on work with K‑8 students (tutoring alone does not qualify).
• Experience in data‑driven education, EdTech, or student‑support roles that blend analysis and interpersonal work.
• Fluent spoken and written communication in Ukrainian and English.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets (lookups, filters, pivot tables, charts).
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to analyze data or automate workflows.
